Privacy
Your information, clearly explained.
This notice describes the account and enquiry features currently available on the RemTech website.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we store your name, email address and a salted password hash. When you submit a quote or pre-order request, we store the contact details, selected products, quantities, delivery information and message you provide. Account activity can include saved basket items and request history.
Share only what is needed to explain the equipment or task. Please do not submit medical records, identity documents, payment card numbers or other sensitive records through a free-text enquiry.
Why it is used
Your information is used to operate your account, retain your basket, review your requests, prepare quotes and keep the related records. Authorised store administrators can access the records needed to manage these tasks.
Requests are saved for the store to review. Submitting a product enquiry does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list.
Storage and essential cookies
The website uses Vercel hosting and a Turso/libSQL database for account and enquiry records. An essential session cookie supports sign-in and basket functionality. Guest sessions last up to seven days and signed-in sessions up to thirty days, unless ended earlier.
This website does not currently include advertising pixels or a marketing analytics integration. Security controls use hashed request identifiers to help limit repeated attempts and misuse.
The site and its infrastructure providers may process technical request and security information to operate the service. Processing is not represented as being restricted to Australia.
Payments, email and external links
Pre-order enquiries do not collect payment. If online payments are enabled, card details are handled by Stripe’s hosted checkout; the store retains order and payment-reference records rather than card details. Password-reset emails use an email service when that feature has been configured.
Do not send card information in a message. Manufacturer instructions and other external links take you to separate websites, whose handling of information is governed by their own notices.
Access, corrections and questions
To ask about information associated with your account, request a correction or ask for deletion, submit an enquiry using the email address connected to your records and identify the request as a privacy matter. We may need to verify that the request relates to you. Records needed for an existing transaction or legal obligation may need to be retained.
Session expiry does not automatically delete an account or enquiry. This notice will be updated when information-handling features change.
